Anyone buy one of these or the griddle? Do you have to season it first? If so, how did you do this? Thanks.

Not primo brand but got one for camping a few years ago. Cooked bacon on it right out the package and have never looked back.

I bought the aftermarket cast iron grates as soon as I got my Primo. Only use the racks that came w it when smoking or qty of food requires me to double stack. Can’t imagine going without them.

Seasoned mine w cooking oil and bacon. Wasn’t much to it.

Mind linking the grates you got? I’ve been using the grates it came with.

At OP, I have that grate/griddle. I did not season it and have not had a problem.

My Primo is down at the moment. Last night I was finishing up cooking some skirt steaks and the bolts on the lower band were rusted and decided to pop. I have emailed Primo, I want to replace the bolts, hinge assembly and bands.

I don’t know that I have a link..... pretty sure I got them from Shoppers Choice. However, this is what they look like (I bought 2 to cover the whole surface and pretty sure I didn’t pay $60ea)
