It’s a fine sandwich but the only thing that might elevate it above a CFA spicy chicken is the price point

Wife and I split one today and after finishing my half I was immediately upset that I got boneless wings instead of a second sandwich. Will not make that mistake again.
That sandwich was prepared perfectly. Breast was fresh, hot, and crispy. Meat was tender and juicy. Bun was soft and just a tad sweet, and there was the perfect amount of sauce to add some flavor but not take away from the perfect chicken.
Popeyes on Vets near Dorignacs. They do a phenomenal job. Drive through service was fantastic as well.

Finally tried this sandwich after reading 13 pages about it... And was pretty disappointed. I mean it's a good chicken sandwich, but the Chic-Fil-A Spicy Chicken Deluxe is much better IMO. I will say it could have just been prepared poorly, bc the chicken was not completely crunchy and there was only a small dab of sauce. The sandwich was not spicy at all. I will give it one more chance before I give up on it.
I did really enjoy the bun and the price point though.

Went to the Popeyes on Staring last night and waited about 25 min for this sandwich. All the while this squirrely crackhead mofo was going back and forth outside and into the bathroom. It was absolutely worth the wait and the tension of waiting to be robbed by said crackhead. Delicious... and as a bonus per usual...they screwed up the rest of my order but unstead of leaving stuff out we got an extra order boneless wings

The only way I’ll eat Popeyes is if their business model is ran on strong atheists values.

It truly is an adventure every time I go and I always go inside because that parking lot is such a cluster. The best Popeyes I've been to is in Jena LA.
