Absolutely, it is about preference. I know this board is very pro Parish, and I do think they are the best brewery in the state. I love Envie and and all of their special release hoppy beers, (currently on hold b/c of strawberry canebreak) however, I personally enjoy HR more than Envie. HR Is the best year round IPA in LA. Envie is the best year round APA in LA. Commotion is the second best year round APA in LA.

I probably shouldn't have compared the two because they are different styles. Envie is the crushable juice. HR more juice foward w/ a grapefruit hop bite finish. Both outstanding beers and very happy to have them year round.

Breweries don't give me free shite so I don't have to lie about whether it's good or not. If it's good I'll drink it and rave about it. If it sucks im going to say it. Now run get yourself another Voodoo Bengal, or whatever they are calling it now, and endorse it.

Another one of your great, bitching, whining, and moaning replies about LA beer.

Radical Rye has to be in this discussion somewhere.

If it was more readily available to me, I could live with it and Envie as an everyday beer.

Radical cans are just old everywhere... Not enough people buying and drinking it around Gonzales. 1/29/17 dates on everything I've seen and bought

I bought some about three weeks ago from colandros

I didn't check the date but the guy was loading the shelf with them from the cart so I assume they were fairly fresh.

Very good beer.
