Tabasco for me. I was raised on it, and it's always my go to.

Franks Wing Sauce for wings. I use a number of hot sauces for different things. I also really like...

1. Sirachi
2. Trappeys
3. La. Hot Sauce
4. Franks
5. Tabasco... and I'm from New Iberia. The sauce is crap compared to the 1960s. Way more salt and vinegar. Less time aging.

Looks like the maker of Louisiana also produces the Louisiana Gold you posted.

Any stark differences?

I did not know this. I think it is similar: a little hotter and lacks on the taste a bit, but I haven't done a side by side.

Inexperienced, I started with Tabasco but I grew tired and moved to Crystal but it just wasn't good enough. Then I found a home with Louisiana for good or so I thought until I cheated with Sriracha.

I haven't tried that one out yet, but after going back and tasting the regular by itself, I must say I like it alot more than Louisiana Hot Sauce. Spicier and tastier. (I was a louisiana fan for awhile and just got tired of it, I need variety in my life)

My all around fav, Cholula..

For solid heat with good flavor..

Mayanik is a good one from the Yucatan, sweet heat..

For cooking this is a great one... Linghams from Thailand. When placed on grilled items it creates a carmelized chili glaze..
