I've had my Rec Tec Bull for about 3 weeks now. Love it!!! I've only used Lumberjack Competition blend pellets and cookin pellets blend. From my understanding Cookin Pellets makes the Rec Tec and I was able to get a 40lb bad for $28. I was in Texas last week and was able to load up on the Lumberjack for $6.99 for a 20lb bag.
And for people saying you can't get good smoke with a pellet grill... Maybe they should try Rec Tec... No extra tube needed.

Just do like me. I buy most of them and make my own blends. I also layer my pellet box with different flavors as well.

I haven't been able to do a smoke since I don't have any cover for my GMG and it has rained almost every single day in New Orleans
If you have a tarp and some gorilla tape you could pretty easily jerry rig a cover for the smoker box and cord. I've done it before. But it sounds like things are breaking up.

I had an EZ up in my back yard but lost it during one summer shower. I have four massive oak trees in the back yard that just drop water constantly.

I have a Rec-Tec 340 and I love it. The 340 fits my needs but I wish I had gotten the 590 just cause its bigger LOL!
Same here, but I've taken my rt-340 to plenty of places (camps, vacations, etc.) that I would not have been able to take the 590. Sometimes I wish I had the 590 but then I think about how portable my 340 is and I'm good.

Yeah I didn't have any problems, getting bark or smoke on my Rec-Tec either. They have an extreme smoke setting that makes it easy
Finally got the pics to load. You can definitely get a smoke ring on the Rec Tec

Costco has Prime Brisket for $3.49lb. If anyone is looking to throw one on this weekend.
