shortrib grilled cheese

last week for lunch the place had maybe four tables seated and it took 45 minutes for mine to come out of the kitchen. Bottom was burnt.

Last time I went I would order a beer, the waitress would leave for ten minutes, then come back and say they were out. Probably happened three times before I just said screw it bring a Miller lite. 10 minutes later she comes back with half a glass of Miller lite and says they just ran out of that. If you don’t even have the terrible light beers during a playoff baseball game then idk what to tell you.

Probably won’t go back.

I went Saturday for the game. Menu had changed, they no longer had the grilled cheese. I got a braised beef sloppy joe that was pretty good, along with the house chips, appetizers of tater tots with a spicy sauce on them, and the gravy fries with cheese curds. Had a few different beers and friends had a few different things. I don't remember anyone having any issues with getting what they wanted (which I also had in the past). Game day special was $2.50 Bud lights and $3.50 fireball, apparently catering to the lower end clientele. Service was decent, but I think they had more people in the place than they expected. More than enough TVs to watch the game though

I'll definitely go again now. Place was terrible at being a bar, but the food has always been good. With that much floor room they were stupid not to be a restaurant from the beginning. They could excel at being a place just like Walk-ons, except with better food. Location won't help them out nearly as much tho.
