So, would you go back?
Very funny. I don't want to spend his life insurance money that badly. Seriously, we had to pull off of Vets, he could barely breathe. The food gave me a runny nose (MSG often gives me a respiratory reaction, but not to the point where I actively avoid the stuff)...but he was really wheezing. Interesting to note that PF Chang's food doesn't bother him.
Honestly, I was probably expecting a bit too much. But I didn't find it appreciably better than Panda Express & it was more expensive.

I went to one in Houston over Memorial Day and thought it sucked -- I've had better frozen Chinese entrees from the grocery store. My wife got Pad Thai, I probably got Kung Pao chicken. She didn't think it was that bad, I thought it was inedible. And I'm not a picky eater. Any random Chinese place in a shopping center in Baton Rouge/New Orleans/Lafayette is almost certainly better.

LOL I am not to my knowledge related by marriage or blood to anyone posting on TigerDroppings. Though for some reason people assume I'm a dood.

Well it's mostly male posters here, your handle is kinda androgynous and you know a shite load about food. I used to think you were a dood too.

I really enjoy Pei Wei. I usually get the Pad Thai Chicken, but lately the one near me has been skimping on the sauce so I've reverted back to the Pei Wei Spicy with fried rice.
Other favorites include Orange Chicken, Mongolian Beef, and Kung Pao chicken.
The only thing I've tried that I would not get again is the Honey Seared dish.

I am not a cheerleader for any place as I rarely if ever eat out. I cook more that well enough to avoid it if possible. Basing your BS piece on two things eaten on one trip to a restaurant exposes you as being a moron.

I didn't realize saying I didn't care for a new place in BR that has been hyped on this board would create so much butt hurt. Even my board bestie S has forsaken me

Dude. Calm down. I'm sorry I hurt your feelings. Fine, fine. I didn't care for what I had. I'll eat it once a week until the end of march to make sure. Sound like a deal? Just please untie the knot in your panties

Classic coming from the guy wolfing down cheap chinese food

It was really really dry. Just not good. The bell pepper in the entree was kind of undercooked too.
Like I can taste the food! Such vivid and creative writing.

You laugh but the advocate used to review places like bennigans and Applebee's. today I think they did portobello's
Posted on 1/30/14 at 4:45 pm to Elleshoe
Then you sir are prime for a job at the Advocate
But seriously, the food reviews in the Advocate used to make me . They did that horrible Italian buffet on Siegen one time. It was depressing.
