Had some pastalaya made with the Pierre Part preseasoned mini shells added after the meat and trinity was cooked down right. It had a great flavor. If I can’t get those shells already seasoned, does anyone have a good comparable seasoning recipe and rate per pasta?

Someone there said the mini pasta shells were in a box with seasoning already on them or in the box with the shells. I believe they said the box was from Pierre Part. Unfortunately I did not see the box or talk with the cook.

Maybe? They said it was in a box though. It was probably 20 gallons.. Where would one get that in a box for 20 gallons?

They might have bought it in bulk. It does have mini shells, which I haven't seen in other products.

I've tried it and it was good. Of course, not as good as the pastalaya you guys make, though. I think I got it at Rouse's

I think we can put this one (and me) to bed - they sell in bulk boxes:

Cajun Fry

10 lb box is $38.

You're a newby here. Have your heard about the Jambalaya Calculator? You can download from the link on the front page of the F&D board. It includes a pastalaya funtion as well as instructions on how to cook pastalaya.
