Got some of this for Xmas. Gonna make some chicken wings for lunch. How is it?

Should I go 4 part sauce 1 part butter or just do hot sauce only?

I like it. My grandma always has some, she thinks it's cool that it's Panola hotsauce and we live in Panola county. Yeah, she knows that there is no relationship.

I like it but have never used it for wings. Just add as much butter as you think. I eyeball it. Made in Lake Providence which I believe is East Carroll parish? One of you north Louisiana eyetalians will confirm or correct.

Lake Providence is indeed in East Carroll parish. It also holds the distinction of being the poorest city in Umerica.

Panola is my favorite change-of-pace hot sauce. Love the stuff.

As for butter, I've cut it out all together when making wings (fried) and have noticed little difference in taste.

We stopped off at the plant and took a tour of the place...it was very nice.

It wasn't bad. Def a different flavor than the others. I don't know how I would like it on foods.

I think the butter is there to help the sauce go further.

Panola Pepper Web site

Great stuff. I think they actually make a wing sauce, but if you are adding butter to the original gourmet sauce, just eyeball it and taste and add more if need be. they will ship it to you if you are not in driving distance or dont have a grocery store that carries it.

eta: they also make some SEC college themed sauces. started with LSU and do alot of the sec schools now
