Here you go. I'll also post it in the recipe thread.

Shrimp Mold

2 lbs. boiled, seasoned shrimp, peeled,deveined & chopped (I use Zatarain's & salt)
3 3 oz pkgs of softened Philly
1 can condensed tomato soup
1 cup mayo
3/4 cup finely chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped green onions
2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
salt, pepper & Tabasco to taste

Heat softened Philly & soup in saucepan until there are no lumps.

Dissolve gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water.

Combine gel with soup & Philly mixture and blend well by hand.

Add remaining ingredients.

Pour into greased ring mold (I use mayo for this) and chill overnight.

*Shrimp, celery & green onions should be chopped by hand, not with food processor or blender. (Don't ask me why, this is my mother's recipe and she isn't here to ask!)

Probably does, but Darla's mother apparently doesn't approve of that method.

there's not much to chop in that recipe. I'd chop to save from dealing with the processor. I have my own recipe. I chop those ingredients because I like them more like diced a bit larger than finely chopped. I love those molds. Not many people do. Reminds me of my grandmother. My Mom still likes them also. I believe I used some Zing Zang in mine.

My mom brings shrimp mold to everything. First communion, have your mom bring a shrimp mold, divorce party have your mom bring a shrimp mold. Wake, have your mom bring a shrimp mold. Personally I rather her shrimp dip.

The Zing Zang is a good addition or whatever other bloody mary type bottled mix you like. I think Whiskey Willy's would work really well.
