Oysters v clams

Never had clams before. Any diff in texture/ taste

I prefer oysters but clams aren't bad, smaller (at least compared to gulf oysters). Steamed clams are good stuff

First time I ate fried clams at age 17 I argued that they were fried oysters cut into strips.

Clams are firmer than oysters...love them both any way I can get then. Had steamed clams and mussels for lunch today.
