I hadn’t eaten McDonald’s in a coon’s age until this week when we stopped for gas in light-my-fart Kansas.

I got a double Quarter Pounder with Cheese. I was blown away. I don’t know if it has anything to do with the fact that there was a giant cattle ranch right behind it or what but the patties were thick and it was so hot it almost burned my mouth.

Ordered on the app and a nice funny Indian (feather) brought it out to us. It was the most pleasant McDonald’s experience since circa 2013 in Montrose CO where I had the best bacon egg and cheese biscuit of all time.

I admit, the regular McD cheeseburgers hit the spot sometimes

last several times I’ve been there the atmosphere was horrible.

It’s sad how far it’s fallen and how bad it needs a renovation
