Our New Year's Eve Meal at Home

We continued our tradition of just staying in on New Year's Eve and cooking up a nice meal.
Started out with a corn & crab bisque
Next up was a spinach-apple salad with a homemade maple vinaigrette. Tossed the pecans in a little butter and seasoned with sugar, curry powder, red pepper, and salt. Baked for about 10 minutes.
The main attraction was GW Fins recipe we found for horseradish crusted drum with a truffle potato sauce. Topped with crispy fried parsnips and fried spinach. We sauteed some fresh green beans to go on the side.
Forgot to take a picture but we also made a chocolate bread budding using a Redfish Grill recipe we found. It turned out great as well.
Overall a delicious meal and great way to end 2018. Hope all of you on the F&D board have a great 2019!

Damn man, that is some awesome food. Like a guy once said to me when I fixed some serious food for a dinner I put on for friends===="Damn, are you one of those grommet cooks"?

Yep, forgot to take pics of it but wife made some chocolate bread budding.
