Many of you all may already be aware, but I thought I'd throw this out there because it shows a standup brewery doing standup things.

Good Beer Hunting Story on Burning Can

Basically, they threw the festival. At last minute, their ABC comes in and says they can't let out of state breweries pour there. So now they have all these out of state breweries, and they decide to give them travel stipends at $2,000 a piece, since they weren't going to be able to pour. That came out to about $60,000. However, they knew that festival goers were going to be disappointed, because now they weren't going to experience all the beer options they'd been promised.

In the wee hours of the morning, they realized they could actually refund everyone's ticket prices instead and throw a huge "private party" thereby circumventing the beer pouring laws. So that's what they did. It cost them 100,000 to do it (vs. the 60,000 in travel costs), but they knew it was the "right" thing to do.

I wish nothing but success on such a cool brewery.

I'm a big fan. Even if they are overrated. Or underrated. Or whatever.

Met the Ozark brew master few weeks ago. Tried a few of their offerings. Good stuff. Unfortunately out of my price point for draft. Went with Great Raft instead.

I meant draft. Sorry didn't clarify. I try and stay $140 and under so I don't have to charge out the arse for a pint.

Very understandable deicision as a business owner. Where are you located if you don't mind revealing? Curious how far they're looking at distributing. I know they just procured more, bigger tanks to try to increase their distribution. Curious how far they're looking at distributing.

No. I was talking about Ozark, not Oskar Blues.

Maybe Boondock meant Oskar Blues, not Ozark, though?
