One night in Seattle - Where to grab dinner and a beer?

I'm going to Seattle for one night before heading up to Everett, WA for a few days for work. What's my best bet at grabbing a good beer and meal in one sitting?

Downtown? If you want pub food, probably Pike Place Brewery in Pike Place Market. For something a little more fancy, I like Cutter's Bay House a few blocks from there. Tons of good places to eat though and there's good beer everywhere.
Also great Belgian beer and food at Brouwer's Cafe just across the bridge from Queen Anne.

I really enjoyed two places last time I went:
-The Walrus and The Carpenter
-Manolin
Both were awesome.

Capitol Cider
They have a decent draft beer list but if you want to venture into some ciders, we really enjoyed this place.

Downtown?
Not sure as I've never been to Seattle. I'll be coming from the airport but I would guess I'll head downtown. My BIL told me Pike Place Brewery was a good spot so I might stop there. I'll check out all of the suggestions online though before making a decision, thanks!
