Giamanco's

My late Sicilian grandmother's favorite place. She lived in the neighborhood behind Calandro's until her passing. She absolutely loved a night out to Giamanco's.

My mom has the recipe. I will ask her about it. My dad’s favorite restaurant and favorite salad! It is so good!

Charlie’s Deli in Lakeview. I miss that place .

A moon, bbq Zapps chips, and a cold bottled barqs root beer was a weekend staple of my childhood.

I miss Tony Angelo’s as well.

I have great memories of eating at Chalet Brandt with my grandmother. She ate there at last one time a week (wometimes two) so I would routinely go with her.

I'm shocked the local finkle hasn't come in to make the thread about himself

Wasn’t it called Jack Sabins?

Pedro’s on Highland. Dump with awful food. But great late night memories.
