I was just making this old recipe my mom has and I've never seen it anywhere and anytime I make it for someone they look at me like im crazy when I tell them whats in it. It made me think what other kind of great/odd recipes people have that are pretty much secluded to a single household or family.
Here it is. Its basically a summer hot dog recipe called "hot dog stuff". very creative name.
1 package of hot dogs, chopped up
8 oz of cubed cheddar
3 hard boiled eggs
1 can of tomato paste
4 tablespoons or more to taste of Mayo
1/4 cup diced onion
diced olives optional-I usually leave them out
Put this mess inbetween a hotdog bun, wrap in tin foil and bake on 350 for about 15 min. comes out a delicious hot cheesy mess.
First, does anyone have a similar recipe?
Second, what kind of recipe's do y'all have?

da frick? that sounds like it will have you shitting out gumbo faster than ex lax.
My grandpa makes "shite on a shingle".. not really anything crazy, just seasoned ground beef with cream of mushroom mixed together and placed on piece of buttered toast.

Mine is "Tomato Stuffing". It can be eaten alone or as a stuffing for tomatoes, bell peppers, etc.
1 lb ground meat, drained
1 medium onion, diced
16 oz can whole tomatoes broken up
seasoned Italian bread crumbs to thicken
Brown the ground meat and drain the fat off.
Saute the chopped onion until translucent.
Add the tomatoes, break up, and cook down until fairly thick.
Add the bread crumbs until a desirable consistency.
Stuff into tomatoes or bell peppers as desired.
Of course, you can add seasoning as desired.

French toast with peanut butter (instead of syrup).

I have a shite on a shingle breakfast recipe, take packaged beef lunch slices and sautee with butter add milk and whisk in flour until u have a gravy.
Sounds like yours may be more of a dinner or lunch recipe with the mushroom soup. Sounds good either way

Grilled cheese sandwiches with peanut butter on them.
Much better than you would expect.
