Odd Cocktail?

Lunch last week at Portico and an older gentleman sat at the bar and ordered a glass of red wine with a shot of Tito's in it. Actually ended up ordering a second one and pairing these with chili cheese dogs and fries. Is there a special name for this concoction or is it just called a glass of red wine with a shot of vodka in it?

One day my stepson and I ventured into an Irish Pub and I ordered a Guinness and told him to order what he wanted as it was on me. He told the bartender Stoli's and Dr. Pepper, and the bartender simply said "NO", and I laughed.
Who the hell orders Stoli and Dr. Pepper??????
