I'm sad to say that this is the case for me as well, but it's only because he doesn't really make any styles that I'm crazy about. Heiner, the owner/brewmaster, is a super nice guy, too.

Yea he is a very nice guy. I do find that their strawberry ale is better than Abita. Other than that, I usually stroll past that brand at the store.

I agree, and the Pontch Pils is good for what it is, too. Like I said, just nothing that lifts my skirt.

Hienr Brau Kolsch is my favorite beer from the area. Dual purpose beer since its great when it's hot (I usually pick up one or two six packs during the summer), plus your buddies who drink coors light will enjoy it.

I'm not a fan of Covington Brewhouse bock or pils.
