No. I heard he is opening a place in restored warehouse near the convention center.

Funny thing is, the couple of times I'm aware that "national" "name" chefs have tried to open a place in New Orleans, they've fizzled quite fast.

Anyone ever try that Todd English place that was open for a brief time near Harrahs?

Speaking or restored buildings, who has been to Le Foret? Talk about a home run.

Not so good.

He should have just opened and Olives...there would be a chance it would still be open.

Another crappy place. It's a see and be seen place. But the food is average.

Good DFW Mexican:

Avillas
Mias (not Mia Cocinas)
Desperados
El Asedero (Ft worth stockyard area)

There is also great Thai, Indian, sushi and vietmanese here. Dallas does not have good Italian or seafood though.

Le Foret is better than a home run...try a grand slam...it should be mentioned in the same sentence as MiLa, Stella!, August, and Commander's...though that may be a long sentence.

And, yes--horrible seafood in the area.

Houston has 25-27 Fortune 500s, and that's the most in the state. Dallas has like 12-15 bucko.
