At least one restaurant, the popular French Quarter restaurant Irene’s Cuisine, will temporarily close due to the new rules. Chef Nicholas Scalco said the changes were the final nudge toward a decision he had already been mulling as financial pressures mounted.

I'm still not sure if this applies to food counters that are not "bars".

If it does, a place like Camellia Grill will never be able to open.

I don't think it is the product being served that has her all in a tizzy.

I know I'd rather be sitting in a bar where patrons are sipping drinks out of plastic cups and not in a diner where you have coffee cups, plates, bowls, silverware, water glasses for just about every customer who's also helping themselves to ketchup, sugar, other condiments, etc. to season their food.

I'm thinking we lose 30% or more by September. I just don't see how many of them or even making any money at all.
