Thanks guys. I got tied up with some meetings and dinner and just checking back. Will read up on some of these recs and try a couple of them.

FYI, just got in from a new place in Houston called Ouza Bay. It’s a Mediterranean place in the River Oaks District. Pretty good food and they serve a family style fish plate, (4 lbs of grilled Snapper, Redfish, Turbo, Hallibut, etc). 3 of us couldn’t eat it all. Try it Out if in the area.

Consider two venerable favorites in Gautreau's and Clancy's. Both look like there should not even be a restaurant there when you drive up as they are hidden in residential areas Uptown. Gautreau's does not even have a sign. Yet, MULTIPLE James beard award winners have worked the kitchen. Both deliver meals worth of a Michelin starred restaurant in Paris.

Have reservations for N7, Paladar 511, and Compere Lapin for next weekend. Looking forward to it.
