Spending my 40th Birthday in New Orleans
We will be there the weekend of the divisional playoffs. Have brunch lined up at Court of 2 sisters.
Thinking Commanders for dinner
Also going to bring the little lady to parasols for a roast beef poboy
What other must eats
Haven’t been back in a few years
Anything new?

I would skip the Court, the food is not very good. I would do Brennan’s for brunch instead. It will be considerably more enjoyable.

Couvant is new and delicious.

Do Galatoires or Aranud’s if you’re set on getting brunch in the quarter.

The Trolley Stop Cafe has new decor and hopefully, after an intervention by Gordon Ramsey, mold-free nacho cheese sauce....

Seriously, I thoroughly enjoyed Mr B's the last time we were in NOLA

The country club has a nice brunch on Sunday. Tell them it’s your Birthday. They’ll love you.

When it is time to celebrate something there is no place like Galatoire's. You are already going to my second favorite place in Commander's Palace. The Court of Two Sisters gets an A+ for atmosphere and a C for everything else.
