Going on a third date with a lady I have recently met. Going to NOLA in the morning.
Looking for casual brunch, bars with patios, atmosphere etc. We are in our early Forties. Anywhere near Quarter, uptown, Garden District, Lakefront whatever. We are cruising around in a Jeep so def casual.

TIA

French qtr this time of year has to be the hottest most miserable place on earth. Rich food, then walking around sweating my nutsack off. Been there done that only in the cool months now. But I will add this court of 2 sisters after dark outside eating under the lit up vines. If that don't get you laid nothing will

If you're in the quarter, Arnaud's French 75 bar for cocktails. Chris Hannah is nationally renowned. Latitude 29 and Sylvain are other good spots for drinks in the area.

Bacchanal is a fantastic place in the bywater with a ton of outdoor seating and great environment

Rich food,

I agree that it can be hot, but rich food is not a requirement when visiting the quarter.

Cruising in a jeep? Go to NO East for a bag of banh mi, meat pies, and boba tea from Dong Phuong bakery, head out to lakeshore drive for a picnic. Go to Bocatos afterward for gelato and cannoli to cool off.
