Yeah, we have a regular routine to rinse, dump into a larger pitcher, then disassemble for cleaning.

I wouldn't wish a wine- based "margarita" mix on a Tennessee fan, much less my friends or family, but you're right- the additional ABV by putting tequila in it would require a lot more later than if you'd started with a Cuervo or Margaritaville Ready to Drink product.

How’s the cleanup process on these?

Warm water and flush, basically.

I got mine in a couple days ago and had huge success with my first batch of margaritas last night.

I made it to the level of tequila I had left so that's where my numbers came from.

7.8oz tequila
3.9oz gran gala
3.9oz fresh squeezed lime juice
7.8oz 1:1 simple syrup
21.5oz water

Super simple, IMO. We run 2 tanks of water thru the Rinse cycle, then it breaks down into just a couple of pieces for cleaning.

Someone pointed out that it is smaller than the one from Ninja, and it has less presets.

Looks like max fill volume in the photos is 48oz, vs 64oz from Ninja.

It's important to note that that is only the three function model, not the five function with the larger 88 oz tank that is for sale on Ninja's website.

Why a lesser model with smaller capacity and fewer functions is the same cost normally at Walmart is a mystery to me.

That's been Walmart's MO for the past 10 years or so with electronics type of stuff:Advertise a model extremely close but with limited features for less money

We tried a caramel frappe using some recipe Mrs. Vox found on Pinterest that used Torani caramel sauce. It wasn't too bad, but definitely could've stood to have been a little more sweet. We have a salted caramel syrup that will likely go in next time.

Just finally ordered one today lol. I do want to make a good cosmo and margarita drink. How would one go about using what they do for a regular drink and turning it into a slushi style?

The book that ships with the machine is pretty comprehensive in teaching you the formula. It's a balance of ABV %, sugar content & water concentration. At least that's been our experience.

Here's a link to the Ninja Test Kitchen Drinks recipe section.

I had seen yall talking about this, I figured it may have something in the booklet but wanted to ask people who have used them.

You get a feel for it over time, so you don't have to go all Mr. Wizard on it with the chemistry part, but once you figure out the ratios, it's pretty simple.

I through some bourbon in it after making the kids frozen Coke this afternoon. Enjoyed the spiked frozen cokes and had to keep telling the kid they couldn’t have Dad’s version.

I just got mine and I’m gonna mess around making some stuff this weekend, but I came across this website that seems to help with ratios when making your own mixes. I think I saw an Excel spreadsheet. I’m gonna try and track down as well.

We've really enjoyed ours. We got a really good deal on a Creami (the ice cream maker) too, but while it's better for doing a dupe of the CFA frosted lemonade, the Slushi is amazing, 6 months on.

Now they have a Creami that has the capability of dispensing like soft serve. They call it the Swirl, apparently. It's not out yet but it has gone to the TT influencers for pre-release hype like the Slushi did.
