I have some friends coming in town with 2 small kids. I was looking to pick up some food to eat while the kids play at the house.
Where would be a good place to get food for 4 adults and 4 small kids (all under 3 yo)? Places from Downtown to Kenner considered.

there is a food delivery service, maybe take out taxi or something like that will pick up from most restaurants and deliver to you for a few extra dollars.

There is a new app for Nola food delivery. It is called Waitr. Try it out. There's a $5-$6 delivery fee.

I use Takeout Express all the time. They charge $4.99 for delivery and have a pretty good selection of restaurants. They're also in Baton Rouge and Lafayette, which is where they're headquartered.
Waitr is another Louisiana-based company (Lake Charles). You can't see what restaurants they serve unless you download and run their app on your phone.

Don't know what these kids under 3 eat, but poboys or muffalattas would be pretty easy to pick up for the adults, at least.
R&O's will prepare muffalattas and poboys "packed to travel" so you can put them together at home when you're ready to eat. I get the muffallattas and the Italian poboy with Italian sausage and meatballs packed to travel all the time. R&O's has a huge menu, so there's plenty to pick from to get for the kids. There are pizzas, for example, if the little ones eat those. Plenty of other things for the adults to choose from as well.
