Haven't had brunch there in years, but Cafe Degas used to be pretty solid.

Atchafalaya!!! I like it better than Patois. SO awesome.
Coquette was very couple-oriented too. I liked it.

The food at the Country Club is good, especially the brunch. They also have bottomless mimosas for $10 and you can sit there for 5 hours (10-3) and they will keep filling your glass long after you've finished eating. The service is really good too.

The drag show is only once a month.

I too think Atchafalaya is better for brunch than Patois.

Commander's Palace get's my vote. Absolutely love it. Ask for the garden room. Must make reservations very early

Amelie's courtyard

this gets my resounding support.

Also look into Red Gravy. Best brunch food I have ever had, but Amelie is the best atmosphere with great food as well.

I'm starting to think that Amelie's courtyard may be the winner. Any particular suggestions?

It's been a while since I have been, but their cochon de lait sandwich is incredible. I want to say I had their shrimp and grits and loved it, but I can't quite remember. I remember loving everything we ate their along with the gorgeous courtyard and great drinks. Oh, make sure you get the mixed berry crumble desert. Awesome stuff!

There gumbo (chicken and andouille) is awesome. It has a thick roux with good spice.

Shrimp and grits and crab cake are amazing too.

They generally have a doberge cake for dessert from Debbie Does Doberge.

I usually drink the Rhubarb and Rye, but I had the Amelie this past week. Both are great.
