Crown Plaza put up a banner announcing they have a buffet. I took the risk not knowing if it would be expensive or bad.

$15 and everything was fresh. Beautiful place, great location, lots of parking. Anyway, I was impressed and thought I’d share.

Support it if you want them to stay, the place was pretty empty. They had:
Fresh salad 3 types of lettuce dozen or more toppings. Chicken fried steak, chicken thighs, bread, some red beans and sausage entree to pour over rice. All tasted good. I’ll be going back.

I’m a self-admitted glutton. I’ll check it out.

Still having Thai Pepper withdrawals though.

Let me know when the Indian buffets come back! At least we still have El Magey

Is Crowne Plaza the one next to Tio Javis? I saw a sign when I was last near there but didn’t know if the buffet was for guests only or what. I don’t see any hotel managing to keep something going like that, especially not that hotel. You didn’t list many options, is it a very limited buffet? The price is good, though.

Pujabi Dhaba in Hammond still has an indian buffet. It's worth the drive if that's what you're wanting.
