New steakhouse that opened up about two months ago or so. For those in Bham or for anyone that comes to town, it is definitely another to add to the list of places to try and stop by.

Steaks are all wood fire grilled, no thrills or anything. Just good meat cooked well. We've been twice now and enjoyed everything we've gotten.

The biscuits & ham with whipped cane syrup butter are heavenly. Really enjoyed the smoked mac n cheese, roasted mushrooms, and gold potatoes sides.

Yep that. Sweet and rich butter. Really good. Honestly could probably be a dessert if you wanted it to.

Duh.

It looks like a piece of meat, possibly duck breast.

Everything looks great. I wish I still lived an hour away from Birmingham.

Well if you make it back into town, definitely check it out. I’ve tried the 18 oz bone in rib-eye and the 16 oz New York strip. Strip was my favorite. They have a 45 day dry aged Kansas City strip, but haven’t tried it yet.

We went recently. Felt the food was a little expensive for what I got. The atmosphere was cool if you were a 20-30ish young executive. I remember the appetizer being the best thing we had that night.

It is definitely expensive, won’t argue with you there. I thought the steaks were dynamite though. Portions were very good. I think going forward, we will probably split the ny strip, do a few sides and the biscuits. Will be plenty of food for two of us, and keep things in the $120-$150 range unless we want to have a night and splurge.

Someone at the table next to us ordered the short rib. It looked fantastic. Will have to try that next time as well.
