How will this stack up? I've been burger/fry/junk food stuff for late-night eats in BR but don't know if I've seen BBQ trucks.

The idea first came while a few beers were in the mix, Walther laughed, but they're serious about their cooking. Walter, who co-owns The Draft House, was looking for a way to incorporate some good bar food at the downtown pub, and Bacon was already overseeing the growth of his homemade bottled barbecue sauce, Tres Bien Que.

Won't take much to be the best BBQ in the city.

The Blanchards truck in Lafayette is legit. I'm sure this dude will just steam pan some Sysco pork and throw it on a bun.

There used to be a BBQ truck that was pretty solid, but they left for Houston.

Hopefully this one is just as good... like said, it won't take much to be some of the best BBQ in town.

Na. It's certainly legit. Co-owner has multiple stakes in the downtown BR scene. Should be a good product

I've never tried the BBQ sauce but have heard good things about it

I've had BBQ from both owners and honestly they make the best BBQ I've ever had. It'll be interesting to see how they do going mobile, but I know they spared no expense to make sure they got this thing up running correctly.

They have 3 different smokers that will be pulled on a trailer so they can cook at 3 different temperatures or use different woods in their smoking process. I love Tres Bien Que but they are going to be experimenting with different sauces from what they've told me.

I'm very much looking forward to this thing going live.

Do they have a hogs team? If so, let me know the name please.

If not, there probably isn't anything to get excited about.

I know tres bien que (BBQ sauce) was used by the team "Pushin' Pork" and I believe they did pretty well.

IMO BBQ sauces are the first thing you grade and a bbq joint.

Pushin' Pork had an awesome product! If this is true than I am very very excited for this truck, especially if they can do a great brisket and set up shop close to LSU every now and then.

Well when one of the two owners owns a local BBQ sauce it's easy to talk about. It's obviously part of the product that you can get in basically all the local grocery stores in BR. Just this past week Pimanyoli's started putting it on all their tables.

The sauce is good. I've got a jar at the house.
