I'll second Fieldwork. Drake's makes some solid west coast IPAs. Pliney if you can find it, Toronado always has it on tap. Cellar Maker stuff is good if you can find it.

yes I’ve had a few I liked. Some 21st amendment as well.

Not very knowledgeable on beer but trying to expand my horizon. There are almost too many to choose from, my liver and waist size can only take so much

Was just told fieldwork isn’t distributing much but the bar down the street has it on tap. And was told my local grocery store gets pliny every Thursday morning but sells out quick.

Bought a variety 12 pack of drakes and 12 21st amendment seasonal ipa

City Beer Store has tons of rare craft and a great tap room. If you go to CBS then you are only a few blocks away from Cellarmaker which is incredible.

Try and hit up a K&L wine. The main one near the Giants stadium has a fridge filled with singles so you can try before buying a pack.

Henhouse
Rare Barrel
Bare Bottle
Temescal
Fieldwork

Check dates on cans

I'm so down on their new location. They used to be funky and now it's a corporate nightmare. Would not go there.

I like it so much more than what it once was.

I’m in SF fairly often and my stops are: Cellarmaker (keep an eye out for can release — they’ll open early those days), Cellarmaker Pizza, City Beer Store, Toronado, The Crafty Fox, Holy Water, Barebottle (go-to stop on way back to SFO for red-eye), and Fieldwork (San Mateo taproom is entirely outdoors on SurveyMonkey HQ property — easy hop on Caltrain, if you have no plan going to South Bay).

Think Toronado may have a tap line connected to Santa Rosa.

Fieldwork has taprooms all over and should be in most beer bars.

They're really good.

I had Pliny at Toronado. Seemed warm and flat.

SS if in Oakland there was this little brewery called novel or something similar that I enjoyed. This was over 2 years ago so unsure if it’s still there. It was near Berkeley.
