Yep, a noodle bowl is another good suggestion for quick. Whole Foods will have several options. I like the pot pies, also. Comfort food is where it's at for the flu.
Also, I like La Madeleine's tomato basil soup. It's easy to make, but not when you have the flu. That with a grilled cheese hits the spot when you're puny. I had to eat soft foods for a few days after some dental work and the dentist sent me home with a jar of it which I thought was a nice touch. Had his office sticker on it. I love party favors.

This is getting ridiculous. I can't make a huge amount of chicken salad because it goes bad. So I have to make a small batch every 3 days.
The guys at the gym who are my golfing partners have tried it and they said it was great. Reminds me of Woody Allen's first movie "What's Up Tiger Lily" when they try to find out the secret of Egg salad.
Me: "Lucy, do you want me to show you how to cook chicken salad so that when I die you won't starve to death?"
Lucy: "Nope. The pool boy will make it."

My Lucy(Michelle) is starting the chicken salad at halftime! Will include pecans giving to us as a Christmas gift from my grandpa
