Wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a good seafood restaurant in Navarre Fl or surrounding area that is maybe a local favorite and not as "touristy". I know that's sort of ignorant since this whole area is basically tourist driven economy. There has to be a diamond in the rough around here somewhere.

I was there a few weeks ago but we didn't go eat out so I can't really help you. If you're in a place that you can cook though, there is a seafood market where I got some really fresh red snapper. It was delicious

Yeah we do the same thing...we brought steaks, redfish on the halfshell, etc...bought some grouper from the fish house...wanted to do a one night dinner where we have no prep or cooking to do...

Johnny Houstons has good food but the service is terrible. The little Thai place is good. It's by Dominos pizza.

Thai place is good. Pizza place (New York Pizza) is good. Sushi joint isn't bad. We generally cook our own seafood.

There is a decent seafood place to the left of the bridge leaving the island, can't remember the name.

outside of that we ate in Pensacola Beach.
