Nashville Brewery

Going to Nashville Thursday for a conference. Afterwards, which brewery should I go to? The general consensus seems to be Smith and Lentz, Bearded Iris, or Southern Grist.

I'll definitely vouch for Bearded Iris and Southern Grist. If you're a hop-head, BI is the way to go. SG has several unique brews and good sours.

Fat Bottom has one hell of a burger. I haven't been to the rest so I can't say that it's the one can't miss brewery to visit, but I can say that the burger alone makes it worth visiting.

Southern Grist is the best overall.
Bearded Iris has the best IPA (although the Mixed Green lineup at SG is certainly nothing to slouch about).

I like the IPAs at Bearded Iris best, but all three (Bearded Iris, Smith & Lentz, and Southern Grist) have very good beers. Smith & Lentz probably has the most variety of styles beyond IPAs among those three, while Southern Grist has more of a kettle sour program to go with their excellent Mixed Greens IPA.
I would also add New Heights to that list for their higher gravity stuff, especially their Navel Gazer Imperial Stout and Gobsmacked Barleywine.
If you are up for going a bit further afield, I also think that Black Abbey and Mantra are worth seeking out, although it's a bit of a drive to Mantra. But Mantra has the best sours in the area and it isn't even close.
