A couple of weeks ago I promised the the folks that work at the Parish Center of our church I'd cook them lunch. Today I followed up on that promise.

I started with making a dessert. Almond Amaretto cake.

Next was pork loin that was brined, injected and seasoned then put on the Traeger. Toward the end of that roasting I glazed it with pepper jelly.

Done and tasty!

Another batch of bread dough risen.

I did half plain and half with toasted sesame seeds.

They came out great!

The rest of the lunch was potato salad and Italian green beans and tomatoes with Italian sausage. No picture of the last two things.

Did you make a sauce for the pork?

No, I just included some of the glaze on the side. Pork was juicy.

Bread is looking good. Ate, one of the easiest ways to fancy up those milk bread dinner rolls is a little poultry seasoning added to the dough (or your own mix of thyme, sage, parsley, etc). It’s a “stuffing roll” and pairs really nicely with roasted meats or poultry.

Damn! Every bit of that looks perfect. Do you make that bundt cake often? Headed to Google to read more about it. Thanks for the pics, looks awesome.

It cooked quicker than I expected it to. It was at 144° when I took it off the grill.

Thanks! I'll have to remember that.
