Good people of the food and drink board, I need recs on where to eat a nice dinner in Monroe on a Sunday night. Never been up here and everything except Walk-on’s seems to be closed.

Man you’re pretty shite out of luck on a Sunday night for anything local. Probably need to
hit a chain or a Mexican joint. I’d do Walkons Copeland’s or something
ETA- Trios is open on Sunday nights I think

I’d drive 25-30 miles west down I-20 and eat at the Log Cabin Grill in Ruston right off the interstate on Hwy 33. Takes less than 30 minutes to get there. My favorite dish is the mesquite grilled skirt steak and quail. For my side I would order the cubed up roasted red potatoes and a salad. That skirt steak is damn good and so are the quail. The restaurant itself is very nice and clean. The girls waiting on you are often easy on the eyes.

Sunday evening is dead. Walk On’s and several Mexican options.
