I’m looking to try someplace new during the holidays and this latest restaurant by Shaya has been up on the list. Curious if anyone has been and what the early reviews are looking like.

No, but I priced a room there. $750 per night and up.

Went a couple weeks ago. Food was good.

Very disappointed in the whiskey selection and service. It was absolutely terrible.

I liked it. It won’t blow your mind or anything but it’s solid. I had the pickled quail egg salad and the fish. I Want to go back and try the fried chicken and larger share dishes. I didn't have any issues with the service but it's definitely not a Commander's level experience.

They were out of the flounder when I went. I really wanted that. I tried tasted the following:

Crab au gratin
Oysters en brochette
Oyster stew
Clay pot dirty rice
Red fish court bouillon

All was good and I really enjoyed the two oyster dishes. Red fish court bouillon was also really good.
