I just located these at my local Rouse's after hearing about them for the first time this morning. All I can say is WOW!!!

The fella that told me about them also mentioned them making venison tamales and burritos. I will make an extra special effort to kill 2 more deer this year just for burritos and tamales. He makes them in Houma. Do yourself a favor and locate these if your local grocer has them.

These are badass. They are already made and frozen. All you have to do is microwave them for 2 minutes and they are ready to eat. I will be buying many more of them.

We get them with our deer meat, I don't know if you want two deer worth of them, they do get old after a while

He makes tamales and stuffed pistollettes with deer too, good product, but it ain't cheap

Aren't they in most of the Evans family Citgo Tallyban Stations?

I have a deers worth of burritos, tamales and pistolettes. I've been using him since he made them by hand out of his garage. Good stuff. I like a good enchilada sauce over the burritos and tamales.

They are good. I just like to dress them up a bit. I find them dry.

I like the taste of his venison tamales a little better than Pete Giavenco's, but they are dry. Really need a bit of some kind of sauce. Usually get one made into tamales and have a buddy get burritos with one and we just trade out.

Yep. Mr. Mickey makes some awesome burritos and tamales. They were all made by hand up until maybe a couple of years ago...he wanted to expand and bought some machinery to speed the process up...still makes them in his backyard IIRC though.

They are delicious though...before I decided to start eating better, I would load up on them at the Rouse's in Houma every time I went home. Have yet to find them in BR, unfortunately.

Take him some deer meat next yr.... I do every year. $160 for 30 Dozen Tamales. Burritos are $1 each. Believe it takes 13 lbs of meat for 30 Dozen Tamales..... 2 burritos/lb

We keep them stocked at our deer camp and at both duck camps. I believe the venison tamales and burritos are superior to his beef thats found n the grocery stores.

They are $2 each at Rouse's. I'd buy the shite out of them if they were $5 each.
