The last two times we’ve been we noticed their fajita meat is very smoky when it never was before. No big deal, though it’s not as good as it used to be.

Then last night the family and I went and noticed new menus and the kid and I got charged for each coke we had. $2.50 each. That’s not a big deal but they never did this in the past. The food was still good but it isn’t like it used to be in the not so distant past.

Have they changed management or ownership recently?

Perhaps the management from the Geismar location bought out the Prairieville location and made it shitty?

I say that because the Geismar locations sucks in comparison to Prairieville (prior to your post). Flour tortilla recipe is not the same and the steak had a different flavor and taste to it.

I forgot about the new one in Geismar. I’ve never been to that one because I’ve heard it’s not good. The Prairieville one used to be amazing but now it’s just very average. Sad, really, because that was one of the best Mexican places in the area IMO.

Maybe you’re right about the two being managed by the same people now. If so, that is a huge arse mistake because it is a mere shell of its former self now.

Same ownership I thought, they were going for one in Dutchtown to have higher quality. I prefer the margaritas at the Dutchtown location.

The one on Airline and the one on Bluebonnet were Mi Padres'. The one on Hwy 73 in Dutchtown is Mis Padres'. The one you are referring to on Airline changed their named to Mis Padres' a while back. I don't know if it the same people running both, but if so, that might have something to do with it.

Didn’t know that, but in my opinion, they are failing (in that aspect).

We always bypass the 73 location and go to Airline.

We sat and talked to the bartender not long after opening and that was what he was saying, they had higher brand tequila and stuff like that.
