Paid way too much (on vacation), but damn it’s nice.

While it screams hangover, in moderation I dig it.

Who else has had this?

I used to drink the Dansk Mjod Viking Blod on about a semi-annual basis. I haven't seen it on the shelf in years, though. Good stuff.

I've had local mead in Sweden, not my thing. I much prefer Finnish Sahti

In Gulf Shores the World Market next to Book A Million and the movie theater has many mead wines. Also a wonderful deli and selection of meats and cheeses. Duck pastrami sandwich is wonderful.

I'm pretty sure I had that once at a sumble. It was a hopped mead and very very good from the horn.

My father in law has beehives, I've thought about making my own mead. I may document it when I do.
