Not much difference in them, IMO. I like the club sandwich at McAllister's, so if I'm in the mood for a club sandwich, I prefer McAllister's. Newk's has better salads, which is what I eat for lunch 95% of the time. So if I want a salad, I go to Newk's.
Reality is I don't go to either anymore because all the ones that used to be near my home or office closed. Not even sure there's a McAllister's anywhere in Bham anymore.

Never been to Newk's but I can mother fricking promise you it isn't worse than McAllister's. McAllister's might be one of the worst food establishments in America.

I'm well aware. My statement still holds true. They no longer own McAllister's and McAllister's never owned Newks.

Whoever it was that started Newk's sold his stake of McAlister's solely so he could start Newk's.
Newk's is overall better in my opinion but I also don't think they are really a direct comparison. They each have enough items that the other doesn't.
