i bought a chicken from sams that was fully cooked. i couldnt believe it was only 4.99. it was probably about 3 pounds after cooking. i know you think like wow, you can get 3 pounds of boneless skinless chicken breast uncooked from sams for 1.88 a pouund, so it's not that good of a deal.

not so far my friends. what those cheap chicken breasts in grocery stores dont tell you is that they are full of injected water! i bet 3 pounds of raw breast is really only 2 pounds after cooking because the water cooks out.

but not only that, with the rotisserie chicken, i can get about 2 pounds of meat off it. but i also get the bones!

i wasnt feeling very well the last two days - i think i have a virus of sorts. so yesterday i took all the meat off of the chicken and chopped it up and put a sesame ginger sauce on it and marinated it like BBQ. then i took 90% of the skin off the carcass and removed the congealed fat. I put it in 10 cups of boiling water. added some pepper and a teaspoon of chicken powder.

i didnt add carrots, onions or celery to the stock. i dont undertand why people waste these vags on broth. you cant really taste the difference. simmered on 3/10 for about 45 minutes.

then i removed the chicken bones and junk. drained it. i added two cans of black beans and used an immersion blender to blend it halfway.

it was the best black bean soup i ever had. i added some purple tortilla chips and shredded moz but not fresh moz.

it was so good!

Excelant! Some ones haz to does it.

W hardly go to Sams without buying a rotisserie chicken. Makes excellent chicken salad and always makes stock. Usually roast the bones a bit before making stock.

they do tell you and the injected water is designed to not get released when you cook it.

the rotisserie chickens are a good deal though.

Don't roast those bones. That is a Chicago technique.

It releases the roasted Chicago goodness from the bones.

Oh I forgot, also, it makes GG happy and if she's happy she won't put an itch hex on you. If you'e ever itched in one of those places, you'd understand.
