Abita Roasting Company is good. Nice atmosphere. On the water. There is a Madisonville location.

Morton's used to be a very good seafood joint. Right on the Tchefuncte (sp?).
Haven't been in a decade so this is dated. Madisonville is beautiful town BTW. If I could pick one place in LA to live that would be it.
