Not sure what’s all open for lunch/what’s open with covid since I moved from uptown (4 blocks away from Audubon) on magazine, but a few that I enjoyed:
Clancy’s,
Patois
Picnic provisions (good for a family atmosphere)
Tartine (as else have said)
Avo
Luvi
Barracuda
Those are all within a mile or so of the zoo. Further than that and there are dozens of more restaurants
ETA: I forgot Saba and Guy’s Poboys, both phenomenal options
