Lucky's Fire & Smoke, Lafayette

Has recently taken over the space which used to be Zuhause. I saw the name on the sign for over a month and honestly thought it was one of those smoke and vape shops which seem to be popping up all over.

It seems like a very ambitious project and I wish them well, but I'm not sure that it's a good fit for this city. Hopefully I'm wrong because their menu looks interesting. Usually there's a buzz in Lafayette when something new opens up but I haven't heard anything about Lucky's. There are just a couple of online reviews, but that's it.
Does anyone have a report on this place or know anyone who's tried it? I guess I'm going to have to check it out.

1st time hearing about it, but its not too far from the house so I'll go check it out
need to see what those wagyu beef short ribs are about along with an OF

Location is terrible. Like someone said, ussually there is a buzz about a new restaurant in Lafayette but this one has little to no buzz which leads me to believe it will close sometime in 2023.

Location doesnt seem that bad. Mazen is like a mile away.

Its a mile closer to everything and still feels "in town". They also have the luxury of being one of the best restaurants in town with a ton of loyal people that have eaten there for a long time. You will be hard pressed to find someone say something bad about Mazen.
