Ive been low sodium and avoiding crawfish boils sucks.
I doubt a no salt recipe would work, what's the least I can add.
Or can i add kosher salt like a Texan adds crawfish seasoning?

I haven’t boiled crawfish without salt, but I routinely boil crabs without salt (tho I do use crab boil). The crabs are fantastic without salt....great sweet fresh flavor.

I never use salt for crawfish. Plenty in the seasoning

That would really depend which seasoning you’re using. Some are significantly more salty than others.

Cajunland, Pro Boil and the Geaux Creole shite at Rouses have the least amount of salt for a full Powdered Boil with 10% sodium. Cajunland is the best of the 3. Louisiana is 17% and Zatarains is 21% by comparison.

Cajunland is best be far for me all things considered. I’m fine with adding a bit of salt right before I soak the crawfish if I’m feeling up to it.

No...... im talking about not using the seasoning. Making your own with spices and omitting most of the salt. I rarely buy seasoning blends. I get the big containers of seasonings.

Thanks that's helpful for sure.
So the lowest is 10%.

There is also a place called Deep South Blenders in Elmwood that makes Cajunland seasoning. You can create your own seasoning blend with them and they will make it for you so you can go to them and ask to make you basic crawfish seasoning and put whatever amount of sodium in it that you want and you can just reorder it from them as necessary.
