How much do you add of each to second sack?
This is when you’ll need your spidey senses. I did some selects yesterday and they needed a good bit more of both powders and liquid than would a normal sack of medium sized crawfish.
For a second sack, I’d add at least a half bag of Chackbay, half bottle of LA liquid boil, and 1/3 of the LA bag (the bag that says it does 40lbs of crawfish).

This is almost identical to what I did with my second sack. However I added some salt and shouldn’t have. Otherwise it was great.

Did a sack and a few extras yesterday with Cajunland. Results were pretty good. Only complaint was from one person saying it could use some more salt.
We did zest about 8 lemons into the boil but I dont know if that had much impact on the taste.
Did a 30 minute soak and some did say it did have a little bite, which I think means too much bite.
Im gonna do Cajunland again, but do some LA liquid and cut down on the soak time.
Overall Cajunland is a very good alternative to the old LA
Fwiw, this is 45lbs of crawfish, and a ton of extras in a 100qt pot

Only Cajunland, or did you add other powder or liquid?

I did it on its own. I wanted to see the results by itself.
Next time im going to add some LA liquid to it and maybe decrease the soak time

Howd it taste?
And I like cajunland because its not as salty, but thats my preference. I also like lots of lemon which a lot of people dont like.

Does anyone know where I can find chack bay seasoning at? I have looked a couple different grocery stores and no luck. That was Albertsons and Alexander's highland

So for those that dont have access to Rouses to get some Chackbay, what would you recommend doing. Bag of LA Seasoning and cayenne pepper??
