Pretty much any place with a decent bar where food is served is always suitable for dining alone

I dine out alone at least once a week. I do find that sitting at the bar is more comfortable when you're alone. Grab a beer, watch the TV, etc.

I notice people dining alone all the time in downtown Nola. I don't think you will get any second looks.

you can eat upstairs at Ricks for about $1000, dont even need to dress up
