Got a day off around the area. Breweries, lunch, something just fun to do?
It's between going there for the day or Cody, Wy for rafting.
TIA

Prepare for the beer selection to not be as good as where you've been-about on par with Utah and not many of the high end brews from other states. It's a nice city, with a number of small breweries in what almost look like someone's garage, most brewing decent beers. Yellowstone was one that had a couple good ones on tap, and for food and beer, try a place called Uberbrew.

Bozeman>Billings. Either go down to Cody, or take the drive up to Roundup, eat at the Jersey Lily in Ingomar, go over through Harlowton(stop at the town museum) and White Sulpher Springs and back down the interstate.

Boo and hc got married there last summer and we had a great time hitting up a bunch of breweries all within walking distance of each other. If i remember correctly, the breweries are only open in the evening.

Solid ideas for Billings.

Uberbrew is a good brew pub that is open all day. They have a really double IPA, Humulus Ridiculous. Their Tactical Hops Black IPA is good as well.
The breweries are only open for a few hours each evening. There are like 6 within walking distance of each other downtown. Google Billings brewing trail.
Carter's is my favorite and it is also next door to the local distillery, which is worth a stop IMO.

Yeah, some good recommendations here. Uberbrew is great but between 4 and 8 hit up the other breweries. Carters is the best (imo) but Yellowstone Valley and Angry Hank's are good too.
Absolutely hit up Trailhead Spirits, if they have their whiskey out, buy me a bottle. You know we are good for it.
