Not as important as flavor, but what ring size do y’all enjoy? I’m not a cigar smoker, but have been looking for a good sampler pack to try out.

Minimum 5 ring size in most cases.

I think the number you smoke every week puts you at a higher level than many of us!

Too many in my opinion. I like 2-3 a week and that’s plenty for me.

That's my preference as well.

My wife doesn't mind them, but doesn't like kissing on cigar days. Can't say I blame her. I wish there was some way to eliminate cigar mouth that carries over to the next morning.

Not that it is fun, convenient, or delicious, but eating some fresh parsley and drinking a cup of coffee (without sugar) afterwards actually helps quite a bit.

I smoked a java mint tonight. I know the flavored ones are a no-no for the die hard smokers, but I like these. I get the smaller ones so they don’t last as long. Got a liga privada no. 9 for after dinner.

That's a fantastic stick. As is a Padron 64 Anniversary.

Nice job on the Liga privada. I'm not a fan of the flavored. Cigars... I've tried and they make me sick to my stomach and I Usually smoke bolder sticks. Something about the infusions that don't set well.

How do you like that Leaf, I found that a few months ago and really been enjoyed them. Also love the FLD stuff you have posted, I usually grab a few Litto Gomez whenever I see them.

In large part that has a lot to do with what you smoke.
The branded cigars may have been boxed 3 months ago, 3 years ago or ???
When you get that taste is more than likely that your smokes no longer had the natural oils in the leaves.
Sometimes they will be fine, sometimes you'll have that taste.

Do you always get that taste ?

I do , it is just the smoke taste. Wake up in the night and still taste it. I would smoke all the time if I didnt have the smell on the clothes and the morning after taste.

The smoke in the clothes... is there, I do not know of a way to avoid it. I come from some events that I start undressing as soon as I enter the house and put the clothes outside.

If you come across a fresh hand rolled one, try it and see if that lessens it. Also, remember that alcohol takes water out of the body, so if you are drinking when you smoke, that could also dry you up and make that taste linger....drink water during the night.

Unfortunately here in Iowa, tobacco tax has knocked out almost all of the more private cigar lounges/stores. Consequently I am forced online to keep my three humidors stocked.

What I struggle with is the complete lack of customer service. It is horrible, and although I'm probably a smaller customer ordering about $5,000 - $7,000 of cigars annually, I would think someplace would value my business.

I'm directing this question you specifically, due to the amount of cigars you smoke, and what (price range) you smoke. Who do you use?
